Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 April 2026
These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern your access to and use of the Elite CrowdMakers community platform at https://elitecrowdmakers.com (the Platform). The Platform is operated by The Threshold Collective Ltd (TTC, we, us, our), a company registered in England and Wales. Elite CrowdMakers is a brand of TTC.
By creating an account, paying for a membership, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Membership and accounts
Elite CrowdMakers is a paid, vetted community. Access is granted on a subscription basis and is subject to our acceptance of your application. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at hello@elitecrowdmakers.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
2. Subscription billing
Paid memberships are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis via our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
You can cancel at any time through the billing portal linked inside the Platform. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
3. Your content and licence to us
You retain ownership of any posts, comments, messages, images, or other material you submit to the Platform (Your Content). You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of sharing it.
By submitting Your Content, you grant TTC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform and the services offered through it. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or close your account, except where retention is required for backups, legal compliance, or to defend legal claims.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform to post, upload, or transmit anything that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, deceptive, infringing, or that exposes other members to harm. You agree to follow our Community Guidelines.
Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
- spamming, mass messaging, or posting affiliate content outside approved threads,
- scraping, reverse engineering, or automating access to the Platform,
- attempting to bypass moderation, access controls, or payment systems,
- impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation, and
- using the Platform to recruit away members for a competing service.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or if your conduct, in our reasonable judgement, damages the community. Where possible we will issue a warning first, but for serious breaches (for example harassment, illegal content, or fraud) we may act immediately.
You can close your account at any time from the settings page. On closure, your profile is scrubbed of personal data and your public content is removed from the member-facing Platform, subject to backup and legal retention windows described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party services
The Platform integrates services provided by third parties, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and a transactional email provider. Your use of the Platform is also subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.
7. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that introductions, content, or interactions on the Platform will result in any specific business outcome.
8. Liability cap
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Platform is capped at the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (£100).
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you via the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by applicable law.
