Refund Policy

This Refund Policy sets out your statutory and contractual rights when you buy a monthly Elite CrowdMakers membership. The Platform is operated by The Threshold Collective Ltd (TTC) and billed via Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling.
1. Monthly subscription
Elite CrowdMakers memberships are sold on a monthly rolling basis. Payment is taken in advance for the upcoming month, and renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your membership at any time from the billing portal linked inside your settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until that period ends, and you will not be charged again.
3. 14-day cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (which implement the EU Consumer Rights Directive), UK and EU consumers have a statutory right to cancel a digital services contract within 14 days of signing up, without giving any reason, and receive a full refund.
This right is preserved on the strict condition that you have not used or accessed the service during the cooling-off period. When you sign up we ask you to acknowledge that by accessing community content, reading posts, joining crowds, messaging members, or otherwise using the service, you are expressly requesting immediate performance of the contract and you accept that your cooling-off right is lost once performance has begun.
So, to qualify for a full 14-day refund:
- request the refund within 14 days of your first paid subscription, and
- confirm you have not accessed member-only content since signing up.
Email hello@elitecrowdmakers.com with your account email to request a cooling-off refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of our confirmation.
4. No partial refunds mid-cycle
Once the cooling-off period ends (or once you have accessed member-only content, whichever comes first), we do not issue partial refunds for unused days in the current billing cycle. You keep access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and your cancellation stops any future charges.
5. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you and retry over several days. If the payment cannot be collected, your access is downgraded or suspended until payment details are updated. Any period during which access was suspended due to failed payment is not refundable.
6. Refunds where we end your membership
If we terminate your membership for a breach of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, no refund is due for the current billing period. If we terminate your membership for reasons unrelated to your conduct (for example if we withdraw the service entirely), we will refund the pro-rata unused portion of the current period.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us at hello@elitecrowdmakers.com before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. In most cases we can resolve the issue directly and faster. Chargebacks raised in bad faith may result in account suspension pending review.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
